ARMY UNITS AT PLYMOUTH 1934-35

It would be a full-time job in itself trying to record all of the military units that have passed through or been stationed at Plymouth or Devonport.   The list that follows has been taken from the Kelly's Post Office Directory of Plymouth and District 1935-36 and reflects the situation probably at the end of 1934.   It will be noted that the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders were stationed at Crownhill Fort at that time.

No responsibility can be taken for the accuracy of this list: it is reproduced in good faith as a (hopefully) useful guide.
