FREDERICK SQUARE BARRACKS, DEVONPORT

Frederick Square Barracks was another of those commenced in 1757 within "The Lines" at Plymouth Dock.  Like its neighbours, Granby and Ligonier, the buildings were of only a single-storey.

It was occupied by the Royal Engineers and artificers.
