If you are a descendant of Mr George Edward Baudains or his son, Mr George Francis Ferris Baudains you may be able to confirm, or indeed correct, the information about these gentlemen on the webpage you have just visited.

Although I had some dealings with Mr Brockington in the 1960s on behalf of the Admiralty I do not know if he then owned the business or was a manager on behalf of the Baudains family.  Perhaps you may know the answer.

When did the business actually cease trading or was it taken over by another firm of upholsterers?
