RADNOR DAIRY
The new model dairy in Radnor Place, off Regent Street, Plymouth, was officially opened during the afternoon of Wednesday August 4th 1920. Toasts were drunk in 'pure rich milk'. [1]
The Plymouth Co-operative Society's
Radnor Dairy, 1949. At that time the Plymouth Co-operative Society were receiving milk supplies from 250 farms and some 4,000 gallons were delivered to the dairy every day. Milk was supplied to 25,000 local people daily. [1] Designed by officials from the Co-op's Dairy Department, the plant was erected by the Irish Agricultural Wholesale Society. [1] Sources:
