NOTTE STREET METHODIST CHAPEL

There was a Christian Mission Hall at 58/59 Notte Street, Plymouth, but it is not certain if this was the same building that was the Notte Street Methodist Chapel.

The original Chapel had been built by Mr Isaac Foot, builder of 10 Notte Street, on the site of where Mr William Cookworthy first made his famous porcelain.  Mr Foot was the father of Mr Isaac Foot, featured in the Prominent Plymothians section, who in January 1956 opened the rebuilt Chapel following its damage during the Second World War.
