CAN YOU HELP, PLEASE?

PORTLAND SQUARE AIR RAID SHELTER DISASTER

I am now satisfied that the the air raid that destroyed the public air raid shleter in Portland Square, Plymouth, took place during the night of April 22nd - 23rd 1941.

My thanks to Tony Rees of Plymouth University for raising the query and Anne Morgan of the Plymouth & West Devon Record Office for helping to solve it.
