CAN YOU HELP, PLEASE?

St CLEMENT'S CHURCH, WARLEIGH AVENUE

I am seeking to contact anyone who worshipped in St Clement's Church at Keyham Barton, Devonport.

The Church was located on the site now covered by numbers 62, 64, 66, and 68 Warleigh Avenue.  It was erected in 1912, some years after the houses on either side were built, and destroyed during the Second World War along with much of Warleigh Avenue, Tamar Avenue and Station Road.

I have never seen a photograph of it only an architect's drawing made when it was opened.  Does anybody have a photograph of it?  What was it like inside?  What was the congregation like?  What social activities were organised by the congregation?

If you are able to through any light on these questions, please reply to brianmoseley@plymouthdata.info.   Please do not enclose anything with your initial e-mail as messages with attachments are deleted automatically.

Thank you for your assistance.
