PLYMOUTH CHARITIES

MISS HANNAH TINGCOMBE'S EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION

Miss Hannah Tingcombe, by her will dated June 19th 1861 and proved in the Principal Probate Registry on May 21st 1863, gave £100 to be added to the endowments of the Treville Street Unitarian Chapel in aid of the school attached thereto.

The Gift was used to pay off debt incurred by the purchase of land to the east of the Chapel for a schoolroom, offices and vestry.
