CHURCH OF OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL
The Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is situated in Pike Road, Efford, Plymouth. This was formerly the Chapel of the Carmelite Sisters. The Sisters moved out in 1964 and the Roman Catholic Bishop of Plymouth asked the Redemptorist Fathers to take over the Parish. It is now combined with the Church of Saint Teresa in Blandford Road to form the Parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Saint Teresa. Sources:
