HORSE BUS SERVICES

PENNYCOMEQUICK to the ROYAL ALBERT HOSPITAL

According to the “Conveyances in Devon and Cornwall” series published in the Western Morning News in August 1889, there was a horse bus service from Pennycomequick (the Devonport Borough boundary) to the Royal Albert Hospital at Devonport running every hour from 11am until 7pm.

The operator is not known.
