BONE MILL

Alongside Drake's Mill on Tavistock Road was a bone crushing mill, used for manufacturing glue.  This was situated on the Tavistock Road.

Drake's Mill ceased operating in about 1873 and both it and the bone mill were demolished to make space for the gardens below the Drake's Place Reservoir.
