MOTOR BUS ROUTE "211" and "211A" PLYMOUTH to SPARKWELL and CORNWOOD On Sunday January 1st 1928 the National Omnibus & Transport Company took over the Devon Motor Transport Company's services from Plymouth to Cornwood and to Shaugh Prior. When service numbers were introduced in June 1928 these became services 211 ands 211A. The timetable for service 211 to Cornwood from January 3rd 1929 was:- From Plymouth at (Weekdays only) 8am, (Weekdays and Sundays) 10.15am, 12.15pm, 2.15pm, 4.15pm, 6.15pm, 8.50pm and (Saturdays only) 10.55pm. From Cornwood at (Weekdays only) 9.15am, (Weekdays and Sundays) 11.15am, 1.15pm, 3.15pm, 5.15pm, 7.15pm, 10pm and (Saturdays only) 11.50pm. The timetable for service 211A to Shaugh Prior in 1929 was:- From Plymouth at (Weekdays only) 6.45am, 9.15am, (Weekdays and Sundays) 11.15am, 1.15pm, 4pm, 6.45pm, 9pm, and (Saturdays only) 10.45pm. From Shaugh Prior at (Weekdays only) 7.53am, (Weekdays and Sundays) 2.20pm, 5.10pm, 7.50pm and 10.10pm. From Wotter at 8am, 10.15am, 12.15pm, 2.27pm, 5.17pm, 7.57pm, 10.17pm and (Saturdays only) 11.40pm. National's service 211 became Western National's service 90.
