PLYMOUTH JOINT SERVICES

MOTOR BUS ROUTE "86"

PLYMOUTH to DOUSLAND and MEAVY

On Thursday October 1st 1942 Western National service 86 from Plymouth to Yelverton and Dousland became Plymouth Joint Services route 86.  It was still operated by vehicles belonging to the Western National Omnibus Company.

This service was extended to Meavy village in 1957.
