PLYMOUTH JOINT SERVICES 1942-43

The Plymouth Joint Services Agreement became operative fromn Thursday October 1st 1942 and the notice "Use Any Bus, Red or Green" came into being.  The routes covered by the Agreement were:-

1 - Theatre - Peverell - Milehouse - Fore Street - Union Street - Theatre

2 - Theatre - Union Street - Fore Street - Milehouse - Peverell - Theatre

3 - Prince Rock - Mutley - Peverell - Milehouse - Keyham - Fore Street - Union Street - Theatre - Prince Rock

4 - Prince Rock - Thetare - Union Street - Fore Street - Keyham - Milehouse - Peverell - Mutley - Prince Rock

5 - No service

6 - No service

7 - Theatre - Wilton Street - Albert Road - RN Barracks

8 - No service

9 - Guildhall - Portland Square - Dale Road - Hyde Park Corner - Lower Compton

10 - Theatre - Milehouse - St Levan Road - Fore Street

11 - TRAM ROUTE - Old Town Street to Peverell Corner

12 - Theatre - Hartley - Crownhill - Dock Lane - St Budeaux Square - Milehouse - Theatre

13 - Theatre - Milehouse - St Budeaux Square - Dock Lane - Crownhill - Hartley - Theatre

14 - Theatre - Milehouse - Stoke - RN Barracks

15 - Torpoint Ferry - Fore Street - Bedford Street - Dale Road - Trelawney Road - Holland Road

16 - Theatre - Mutley - Higher Compton (Blue Bird Cafe)
