Created:  27 January 2012

The Plympton District Times and South West Devon Advertiser first appeared in April 1921 and continued until issue 317 on April 28th 1927.

From issue number 318 on May 5th 1927 the paper was renamed the Plympton and South Devon Times and Ivybridge Gazette.

Its last issue, number 465, was dated February 27th 1930, after which the newspaper was again renamed, this time to the even longer South Devon Times, Plympton District Times, Ivybridge Gazette and Moorland Chronicle.

The British Library Newspaper Library has a continuous run of the newspaper from 1921 until 1927.
