The Police Service section of Plymouth Data is being reorganised, revised and extended.

At present the webpages are expected to be:

• Watch and Ward

• Plymouth Borough Police (until 1928)

• City of Plymouth Police (from 1928 to 1967)

• Devonport Borough Police (until 1914)

• Watch and Ward in East Stonehouse (until 1856)

• Devon Constabulary, H Division (East Stonehouse, Plympton and Plymstock)

• Beat Memories

• Greenbank Police Headquarters

• Police Stations

• Police Telephone Boxes (PTB) and Police Telephone Pillars (PTP)

• Police Officers

Those that are ready are linked and the remainder will be added when completed.

In addition, the following Chief Constables, Head Constables or Superintendents of Police have been added to the Prominent Citizens section:

• SOWERBY, Joseph Davidson

• WREFORD, Frederick
