The following tables shows the times of passenger train departures from London Paddington via Bristol and Exeter to Laira Temporary Station, on weekdays for the period of May 1848.  The 7.45am and 2pm from London Paddington, 3pm and 8.55pm departures from Exeter, have been omitted as they ran only to Teignmouth and Newton respectively.

Luggage Regulations

'Passengers of the 1st class are allowed 112lbs, and those of the second and third class 60lbs of luggage free of charge, and all excess is to be charged per lb'.
