LUCAS TERRACE HALT
Lucas Terrace Halt was opened by the London & South Western Railway between Friary Station and Cattewater Junction in October 1905. It was used by trains on the LSWR Turnchapel Branch. [1]

Station end, The single platform was on the Up side and was equipped with a pre-cast concrete shelter. It was accessed from Lucas Terrace by means of a steep path while a narrow roadway passed beneath both the Branch and the main line to Lanhydrock Road. [A]. During 1923 the Halt was lengthened by 125 feet. [2]

with Friary When the Great Western Railway re-opened its Yealmpton Branch on November 3rd 1941 and started the trains from Friary Station instead of Millbay or North Road Stations, then Lucas Terrace Halt was used by both GWR and Southern Railway trains. This lasted until October 7th 1947 when the Yealmpton Branch was finally closed to passenger traffic.
