WESTON MILL HALT (LSWR/SR)

Weston Mill Halt was located between St Budeaux and Ford Stations on the Southern Railway main line.  It was adjacent to the junction of Carlton Terrace and Bridwell Road, by the overbridge.

Although it has been claimed that Weston Mill Halt was opened on Thursday November 1st 1906, the wording in the announcement in the Western Daily Mercury on Wednesday September 26th 1906 about the start of the suburban service to St Budeaux, suggests that the Halt was opened that day.

Weston Mill Halt was to the south of the overbridge at the end of Bridwell Road.

Weston Mill Halt was the south-east of the bridge
over the railway at the end of Bridwell Road.
Note the close proximity of Camel's Head Halt.

Weston Mill Halt was closed from Wednesday September 14th 1921.
