OCCUPANTS OF CHAPEL STREET, DEVONPORT, IN 1812

The properties in Chapel Street, Plymouth Dock (Devonport), were not numbered in 1812 so the occupants are given in alphabetical order, as per the original source:

  • John Attwill, baker;

  • Robert Bailey, lodging house;

  • William Brenton, quarterman;

  • William Briggs, clerk, Royal Dockyard;

  • John Cockran, lodging house;

  • - ? - Lillicrap, quarterman;

  • Vaughan May, surgeon;

  • Alexander Moore, master smith;

  • R L Pinhay, agent to the Fire Office;

  • J R Pitts, foreman of the house carpenters;

  • Richard Rogers, Bear Public House;

  • George Snowden, surveyor.
