OCCUPANTS OF PRINCES STREET, PLYMOUTH DOCK, IN 1812

The properties in Princes Street, Plymouth Dock (Devonport), were not numbered in 1812 so the occupants are given in alphabetical order, as per the original source:

  • Joseph Bray, school;

  • James Butcher, lodging house;

  • Thomas Drake, lodging house;

  • John Dunn, baker;

  • James Ellis, broker;

  • John Garland;

  • Thomas Gill, Clerk of the Dock Yard;

  • Thomas Icely, grocer;

  • William Lewis, grocer;

  • Thomas Liscombe, maltster;

  • Richard Mackay, Barnstaple Inn;

  • John Martin, eating house;

  • Jeremiah Owen, draper;

  • James Phillips, porter merchant;

  • Mrs Sparke;

  • John Sparke, surgeon;

  • Thomas Waye, baker;

  • Edmund Whitford, builder.
