ADMIRALTY SCHOOL, BULL POINT, St BUDEAUX

In addition to the larger Admiralty Schools at Stonehouse, there was a small Admiralty School at Bull Point in the parish of St Budeaux.   Although it was primarily for children of the staff at the Ordnance Depot, it does appear that other children were also accepted.

It was announced on January 9th 1900 that the School, by now a National school, was to be closed on October 1st 1900 but the Devonport School Board was to ask for the closure to be postponed until they had opened a school capable of accepting all the local children.  The new premises were to be in Victoria Road.
