BARNE BARTON PRIMARY SCHOOL

Barne Barton Primary School for the 4-11-year olds was situated in Poole Park Road, St Budeaux, Plymouth.

The site, amounting to some 5.03 acres of the former Barne Barton Farm, was purchased by Plymouth City Council from Mr William Edward Luscombe in 1948.

The Headmaster in 1955 was Mr A G Ayres.

Barne Barton Primary School was closed on Thursday February 7th 2008 and the remaining pupils transferred to the new Riverside Community Primary School.
