FORD PRIMARY SCHOOL

As a result of the changes brought about by the Education Act of 1944, the Ford Elementary Schools became Ford Primary School, with the infants and juniors together in Melville Road.  It was formerly the Ford Board School.

The Headmaster in 1955 was Mr F E Johnson.
