MORICE TOWN PRIMARY SCHOOL, DEVONPORT

After the old Morice Town Elementary School in Charlotte Street, Devonport, had been destroyed by bombing during the Second World War, the pupils had moved in to the former Devonport High School building alongside St Michael's Church at the top of Albert Road.

Mr F J Dunn was still the Headmaster in 1955 although he was now responsible for the boys, girls and infants.

A new school was built in the 1960s.  No further information at present.
