POMPHLETT PRIMARY SCHOOL, PLYMSTOCK

The Pomphlett Primary School in Howard Road, Pomphlett, Plymstock, Plymouth, was officially opened by Sir Henry Slesser on Tuesday October 4th 1960.  With the assistance of two pupils, Andrea Paterson and Alan Davies, both aged 10, Sir Henry planted a tree to commemorate the occasion.

The School could accommodate 240 pupils between the ages of 5 and 11 and cost £41,790 to construct.
